This is a cichlid from west Africa. They’re a hardy fish that won’t get larger than 4” for the males and 3” for the females but they’ll pair up and breed at a much smaller size. The picture is of a female in her breeding colors, the male is similar but without the red belly.

You will get a pair that has had at least one brood.

Shipping is free via UPS 2nd day air anywhere in the continental USA. This excludes Hawaii, Alaska, Porto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. Email me at capefoley@gmail.com with your address for a shipping quote for outside the continental USA.

I include an insulated box, heat pack, or cold pack if needed. I don’t ship when the weather is dangerous for the fish..

WARRANTY:

Live delivery is guaranteed if a picture of the dead fish in an unopened bag is sent to me within 1 hour of delivery as noted in the tracking number.

The refund will be prorated by the number of dead fish. Any extra fish I send are not included in the warranty.

Winter shipments:

I won’t ship fish in December and the first 2 weeks of January because of the uncertainty of timely delivery. After that the shipment will depend on the weather at both ends of the shipment.
