“Pomacea bridgesii”. Mystery snails make great tank mates for non-aggressive Freshwater tanks (tanks without snail eating fish). They grow to about 1 ½ inches in diameter, and are quite active (for a snail). the “magenta” snails have a light colored foot and are a bright magenta when small. As they grow, they gain stripes that are darker and redder.

It is not uncommon for the snails to “sulk” for a few hours after being shipped and placed in their new homes. But they should pep up and be “zipping” around the tank within a day.
