You will receive 10 +2 Neocaridina Davidi Blue Dream Shrimp. Shrimp size upon delivery is typically 1/2 to 3/4 inches. Smaller juvenile shrimp typically do better with shipping and acclimation. In the event of any DOA’s, must send picture in unopened bag within 1 hour of delivery to allaquarialife@gmail.com. Please bring shrimp inside to acclimate as soon as delivered.
Drip acclimate PRIOR to putting shrimp in your tank. 1 drop every 3-4 seconds with airline tubing is recommended. This helps to avoid tds (total dissolved solids) shock and possible deaths when introducing these shrimp to their new water parameters. I personally acclimate for 12 + hours.
Will hold shipping or refund due to inclement weather (extreme heat and cold). Original colony from Flip Aquatics, SoShrimp and Lucas Bretz. Ph 6.8-7.6, Gh 7-15, Kh 2-8, tds 180-400, temp 68-78 F. Shrimp do BEST in a “species only” tank, or with really peaceful tank mates. For best success, I change water 10-15% 1 to 2 x per month in smaller tanks (5-20 gal). Slow drip new water into tank with air-line to help avoid TDS shock and subsequent deaths of shrimp. Shrimp will arrive in a "breather bag", therefore do not float in tank to acclimate. Shrimp are 100% healthy and disease free.
