Gold Back Yellow Shrimp

Neocaridina davidi "Yellow"

One of the fastest selling varieties we carry, they make for a really striking shrimp in a planted aquarium as the yellow color stands out brightly against any dark leaf, dark substrate or dark hardscape. The bright stripe down their back really enhances the look of this shrimp. Our shrimp are housed with almond leaves, sponge filter and a fine substrate. These are the same species as Cherry Red Shrimp and will interbreed with any other shrimp of the same species. The resulting colors will be a range, so if you want a bright yellow shrimp, keep the color you want together in your breeding tanks.
