“Neocaridina davidi” – Are an easy to keep and colorful dwarf freshwater shrimp. They grow to around 1 inch long. Best kept in a tank without fish, as nearly all fish love to snack on shrimp. However, I have had good luck with small fish (Neons, and similar tetras) in heavily planted tanks. the “Blue Dream” shrimp are a dark indigo Blue. They often appear blue-black on dark backgrounds to the eye (the camera seems to lighten them up).
