Live Arrival/DOA Policy:

DOA=Dead On Arrival

We guarantee LIVE arrival on all ON-TIME shipments.

*due to covid causing delays we can no longer guarantee usps priority shipments. Live arrival guarantee is with FedEx or UPS only.*

Live arrival guarantee does NOT apply to shipments delayed by carrier, weather or otherwise.

You must be available to receive package on first delivery attempt, if left out in the weather guarantee is void.

If using the “hold for pick up” option or a PO Box, packages must be picked up within 2 hours once available by the carrier.

Shipping charges are not covered by our Live Arrival Guarantee and are non-refundable, if there is a problem with the carrier, claims must be submitted to the carrier.

If an item arrives dead, we can offer credit towards your next purchase or a refund. Shipping charges for DOA replacements is the responsibility of the buyer.

At least two clear photographs of DOA livestock in the unopened original is required to receive credit. One photo must also clearly show the entire bag with the DOA livestock still inside. Photos must be received by JDAquatics within ONE hour of package delivery. Email pictures to jdaquatics@yahoo.com

Be polite and courteous, and we will respond in kind and handle claims quickly and in a professional manner.

We reserve the right to postpone shipping indefinitely due to adverse weather conditions.

Sales within the continental 48 US states only; excludes Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.

Livestock are shipped in insulated boxes with heat packs if necessary.

Buyer is responsible for knowing local and state laws. Buyer is fully responsible for any and all penalties associated with prohibited species ordered and shipped to buyers address.

After an issue with the order, the seller immediately corrected it and ALL of the fish are beautiful and very happy in their new homes!   • Comment: The 2/4 rams that I received were much larger than i expected, which made me think the fish were older. A few days later the 2 larger ones passed. I should’ve checked with the age & size prior to purchasing. But all the other fish are great! They came well packaged. Would buy again from this seller

  • Comment: I ordered this pair late on a Saturday night and they were shipped the following Monday and I got them on Tuesday. They were packed very nicely and with a heat pack (it is getting cold here). They arrived in great shape and are quite colorful! Great service, thanks. The video is of (I think) the male on the next day. The female is hiding but I did see her. beautiful fish. Again, much thanks. I would (and probably will) buy from here again.

  • Comment: If i could leave 10 stars i would. not only do the fish look amazing, but the packaging is genius here's why: I had some difficulty with getting home on time for my fish arrival, and stressing all day knowing those little fish don't do well in shipments. Well, when I got home and unpacked the boxes, i realized that yellow "sponge" in the bag was POLY FILTER!! (a color-changing chemical filter pad for those of you who don't know.). Yellow indicates that it was ABSORBING ammonia. Which means that even if the delivery system fails, your fish will have a much higher success rate with JDAquatics than any other seller, hands down!
