Shipping Information:

USPS Priority 2-3 Day shipping service will be used for the Shipping of all Live Animals.

All orders will be shipped Monday or Tuesday ONLY so they will arrive no later than Saturday every week. I purge all the live animals before shipping in order to ensure they travel safely.

I use Breather Bags to Ship all Live Animals.

**Please Read**

Breather Bag Acclimation Information.

Do not float your fish in your tank as you normally would with regular plastic poly-bags. Kordon Breathing Bags contain no air, and only a small amount of water. They work by allowing carbon dioxide to pass out of the bag, while allowing atmospheric oxygen to enter through the bag, thereby allowing the fish access to an unlimited supply of fresh oxygen.

If you put the bag directly in the tank, the bag will sink, and you will only succeed in getting your arm wet having to "fish" the bag off the bottom of the tank. Simply remove the fish from the bag and place them in another container that you can float in your tank, or drip-acclimate as you would any other fish.

We recommend that you keep the lights off, or at least reduced for the first 24 hours. Your fish have just spent the last several days in total darkness while they were shipped, and bright lights may cause them to hide for several days.

If you are placing your fish in a planted tank that is running Co2, we strongly recommend that you turn off the Co2 for a day or two before gradually turning it back on and increasing the dosage.

Feed your fish sparingly for the first few days. Remember, they have not eaten for several days and you don't want them to overeat.

I currently do not ship when the weather is below 40 F or above 95 F during the day in the customer area.

**I do use 72 hour heat/cold packs when necessary**

Guarantee:

Live delivery guarantee on all fish,

A photo of any DOA Fish is required in the original Bag. It must be taken within 2 hours of first delivery attempt.

It is the Buyers responsibility to make arrangements for someone to be home for Delivery or you can have the Box Held at the Post Office.

MY RESPONSIBILITY :

It is our responsibility to properly prepare the fish for shipping, select visibly healthy stock, and pack the fish according to best practices before we send them to our customers.

I use Breather Bags to Ship my Fish as I have found this to be an excellent method while using less space in the Shipping Box. This causes less stress on the Fish due to less sloshing of water in the Bag because no Oxygen is necessary. Breather Bags allows Oxygen exchange through the Bag itself.

OUR CUSTOMERS' RESPONSIBILITY :

It is our customers' responsibility to have an appropriate, stable environment ready for the fish and to transfer the fish from the shipping package to said environment promptly upon the fishes arrival. This cannot be done without first obtaining knowledge about the needs of the fish being purchased. The single most important thing a person can do in order to be a responsible fish owner is to educate themselves about the animals they intend to keep and have an appropriate environment cycled and ready for said fish well before the fish arrive. I.encourage my customers to become knowledgeable about any animal they wish to purchase and consider it a customer's responsibility to do so. There is usually ample information online about the fish sold on the Internet.
