Hello Shoppers,

I am Charles Hunter and I am 18 years old. My 2 siblings, Henry (16) and Anna (10) breed our own fish in house, with some input from our parents. We are 2nd generation aquarium hobbyist and have started our own store, H3Aquatics. H3Aquatics (cubed) is an online aquatic pet store run by the 3 of us and as homeschooled students our aquarium adventures have become a living biology & chemistry lab for school as well. After graduation this summer in 2021, I have taken on much of the day to day management of our basement fish room and the morning feedings, while my brother and sister study. My baby sister does a lot of the evening chores (w/ help from my brother or our mom on the tallest tanks our our racks (she's still too short to reach them on a step stool.) Henry manages much of our customer service email and packaging/shipping.

Currently, we have several varieties of guppies (Japan Blue Swordtail Endler's, Assorted Endler-type Males and Assorted Fancy's, available now) and some young bettas that are aging out of their spawns (these are on Pre-order and will begin shipping in early ( 3 Blue-green Halfmoon Male Bettas, parents were steels w/ copper metallic shift, hatched 6/24) and late October (Sire is Tigger, our Orange/Purple/White Tiger Koi HMPK Male x Mrs. Fancypants, our mostly black Marble HMPK Female, hatched 7/10-expecting some crazy colors here) respectively.) By pre-ordering your new betta friend, you'll get first dibs on those we are listing (please note that these are youngsters still and may take a few months to achieve their full adult color and finnage.) Other projects we are working on are: Black Gold Panda Guppies, Flamingo Guppies, Tiger Endler's, Patriot Flame Guppies, Assorted Mollies, Nerite Snails, Assorted Bristlenose Plecos, Scarlet Albino Peacock Cichlids, Angelfish and more Betta spawns.

Policy:

DOA Policy: Please email a picture of any dead fish in the unopened bag within an hour of arrival. We understand that these things happen once in a great while, particularly if there is a weather delay in shipping. We are happy to refund the price of the fish or send you a replacement (you pay the shipping cost on replacements) if we have them available at the time. If unavailable, we can issue a (one time use) discount code to be used on your next purchase for the cost of the DOA fish, if you prefer this to a refund.

* We fast our fish for 48 hours prior to shipping, to prevent fish waste from fouling their water during shipment. To prevent delays in shipping your order, please order by 10 p.m. Friday night. We ship our orders on Monday mornings before noon, (unless Monday is a Postal Holiday. If Monday falls on a holiday, or the arrival date falls on a holiday, we may ship on Tuesday morning or hold your order to ship the following week and yes we will email you to let you know if the expected delivery date changes, or if there is any other problem (in the unlikely event the fish becomes ill before the shipping date for example or heaven forbid the fish passes on unexpectedly from something like spawn-mate aggression in betta siblings that are still residing together. It happens once in a while, as bettas are like the bulldogs of the aquarium world.)
