Calcium carbonate buffering blocks are great to use in tanks with lots of mystery snails, livebearers, and neocaridina shrimp. They raise the kH in the water column, which in turn reduces the risk of bent spines, healthier fish, successful molts in shrimp, and shiny, strong snail shells.
These blocks can be tucked away in the back of the tank, or you can place them in the HOB to be evenly distributed.
Ingredients: Calcium Carbonate, gelatin.
