4 sets of 3D printed Frag rack legs. (4 legs total)
Each leg consists of one foot bolt, two mid sections, and one top nut.
made to fit standard ½ inch egg crate louver. Can adjust from 2” to 4 ½” height. Can be used to make multi-level racks (see image).
top-nut allows the legs to be well secured to the rack, providing a sturdy base.
printed in reef safe PLA.
PLA has been used/tested in reef tanks as a potential alternative bio-pellets. when it breaks down the starch and lactic acid it is composed of would be an ideal food for nitrifying bacteria.
Unfortunately for that purpose (but fortunate for this) it doesn’t break down fast enough. I have tested it for over a year and have seen no deterioration at all.
Studies show that below 140 deg F it is stable for decades. It is biodegradable in hot Bio-reactors above 140 deg F.
