Thank you for your kind patronage, support and loyalty to our store. We hope that you are pleased with the live fish that you receive from us and recommend us to your friends and fellow fish-keepers.

Live arrival is guaranteed for all orders of aquatic life. Please review our "store policies" section for information on filing a claim.

We are specialized in the breeding, keeping, education and shipping of various live tropical fish, goldfish, koi and aquatic invertebrates. Being located only fifteen minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and one hour away from LAX International Airport allows us to directly import some of the most sought after tropical fish.

All of our fish are kept at our holding facility in Phoenix, Arizona. Orders are shipped out Monday through Saturday using our shipping partners. Many of our fish are bred by us or imported from reputable international suppliers. We quarantine and medicate all of our fish and observe them for several weeks before listing them for sale to ensure that they are healthy.

Dead on Arrival Fish Policy:

In the rare and unfortunate event that you receive a perished fish from us, please act quickly and contact us as soon as possible. We request two CLEAR digital pictures of the specimen(s). One picture taken of the unopened bag and one picture of the specimen removed from the bag and placed on a white background (like a napkin or paper towel). These photographs must be emailed to us within one hour of delivery as timestamped by the carrier on the tracking number. Please include your name and order information when emailing us, You can contact us directly at info@desertdiscusandtropicals.com.

We do not offer an extended policy on aquatic life. Once the bags have been opened and an hour has passed from delivery we will not issue any refunds for lost aquatic life. Please contact us directly and as quickly as possible if there are any issues with your order.

Unfortunately, shipping costs are non-refundable at this time. In the event that you receive a perished fish, you will only be reimbursed for the cost of the fish.

Orders ship from our aquatic life holding facility in Phoenix, Arizona every week Monday through Saturday. We do not ship orders on Sunday.

There are currently two shipping options:

-Overnight Shipping : Flat Rate cost of $29.99

-Expedited (1-2 Days) Shipping; Flat Rate cost of $19.99

-Supply orders are shipped separately from aquatic life via Ground shipping at a flat rate cost of $10.

Depending on the quantity of your order, your distance from our warehouse and the shipping method chosen at checkout your order will be shipped using USPS, UPS, or FedEx. We use Southwest Airlines Cargo for wholesale and bulk orders (Currently not offered on GetGills.com)
