Welcome to Tong’s Fish Room. I'm a local fish breeder & hobbyist located in St. Paul, MN.

I have been breeding fish for 20 years. I originally started with Betta splendens (Bettas), then Carassius auratus (goldfish) & koi (Cyprinus rubrofuscus), Poecilia wingei (endlers) & (Poecilia reticulata) guppies, and then African peacocks (Alunocara) cichlids from Lake Malawi. After a power outage event in 2017, I lost all my fish and decided to quit the hobby. Four years down road and here I am again back into the fish hobby. I am currently back raising high end guppies. I currently have 15 tanks & raise the following strains: Gold Lace Double Swordtail, Gold Japan Blue Double Sword, Japan Blue, Gold Black Lace, Gold Lace, Red Lace, Red Metal Lace, Yellow Snakeskin, Black Metal Head Snakeskin, Blue Metal Head Snakeskin, Black Bar, Chili, Albino Blue Topaz, Red Grass, Purple Cobra, Pingu, Yellow King Cobra, Blue Lace, Blue Metal Grass, Blue Dragon, Snow white Platinum, and Albino Full White Platinum. I also raise various color grades of neocaridina shrimps.
