Goldorado Aquatics is an online koi dealer in the United States based in California. We offer a wide selection of koi fish for ponds and aquariums and occasionally tropical fish. Most of our fish are domestically bred in the United States, but we may import from Japan for your koi pond needs.

Policy:

Goldorado Aquatics currently only ships to 48 states in the contiguous United States. Depending on the order and arrangement, we can potentially make exceptions sending orders to Hawaii, however it is up to the buyer to prepare any required permits or licenses to import livestock (live fish) into the state. Please send an email at sales@goldoradoaquatics.com if you wish to arrange a special order outside of the 48 states in the contiguous United States. Shipping and sales may be delayed during the months of October and December.

All livestock (live fish) orders will be sent by overnight shipping for the health and survival of the animals; we will generally use either UPS or FedEx as our shipping provider. All orders will be combined into one shipment with a fixed flat rate of $45 USD regardless of the destination, weight, and the final cost of shipping; all orders $300 and higher will be eligible for free shipping. Please arrange the proper date that you will be available to pick up your order as soon as possible; poor timing or absence of the buyer may have negative consequences on the health and wellbeing of the live animal.

We do offer free pickup options as well as delivery, but delivery is limited to locations generally within or around 20-30 minutes from Sacramento, California. However be sure to contact us and make arrangements before attempting to place an order to request a pickup or delivery.

All sales on livestock (live fish) and perishable items are final unless stated otherwise. This is to avoid the risk of contamination and disease from external sources.

In regards to fish that arrive dead (DOA) must not be taken out of the original bag and a photograph or preferably a video must be sent to the email address goldoradoaquatics.com on the same day of arrival. DOAs are handled on a case by case scenario based on the condition of the package upon arrival, natural phenomenon and disasters, and mishandling by the shipping provider.
