SHIPPING POLICIES

LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE: The shipment must be received on the first delivery attempt. If the buyer misses the delivery and the package is delayed a day or more because of it, we cannot accept responsibility for any losses. It is buyers' responsibility to check the tracking number for delivery. NOTE: We are not responsible for errors, postal delays, wrong addresses mail holds or PO Box deliveries by the postal carrier. All claims must be made and/or brought to our attention via email, call or text within 2 hours of delivery. For DOA's on animals, photo must be taken while animal is still in shipping bag within 2 hours of delivery. For plants, a photo with the plant next to the shipping box with label showing within 2 hours of delivery. For DOA replacement there will be no charge for the animal replaced, the buyer agrees to pay for the shipping.

WE SHIP via USPS First Class for plants; USPS Priority Mail for animals. Upgrades to shipments are available if requested at time of order. The buyer will pay an additional fee for the upgrade.

TRACKING NUMBER will be emailed to buyer at time of shipment. It is important that the buyer check the status of the shipment 2-3 times a day to see when shipment will be delivered. Please make sure you are home or arrange for someone to be there to accept delivery and that they know how to properly handle the shipment.

INCLEMENT WEATHER: We reserve the right to hold delivery due to severe inclement weather. Temperature is very important in the shipment of live plants and animals. In the event of inclement weather, we suggest using the option of 'HOLD FOR PICKUP' at your local Post Office. 'Hold for Pickup' allows the plant/animal to be kept in a more temperature controlled environment that riding around in a postal vehicle will provide.

WE SHIP ON MONDAYS AND TUESDAY to allow the most available days for delivery.

ACCLIMATION SUGGESTIONS for animals will be provided with the shipment and/or sent to buyer via email.
