1. These are not like common bristlenose, they have different requirements for care. They do best in <150 tds, pH <6.5, temp 80°+. Adults can adapt to other conditions but generally do not breed in them.
2. This pleco prefers some meat in the diet. I alternate between algae wafers and Ken’s meat wafers.
3. Due to their sensitive nature, this pleco only ships overnight with a heat pack.
