Beautiful lake Tanganyika cichlid! We breed ours in a 40 gallon breeder African cichlid set up. We also have plants growing there as they won't bother them at all, just make sure plants are suitable for higher PH. They are a community fish and won't be aggressive towards each other, but will be semi-territorial with other species. They love and need cave-like structures. We have natural stones with a lot of caves and clay pot caves (you can buy some from us) which they love and use. You will spend hours watching them behave around a fish tank!
